My name is Eladio Isolini, my father has always talked about football since I was a child, I witnessed the emotion and passion that this sport has generated in him. Until these days, he is still a big fun of the football team “Club Atletico Boca juniors”.
I remember he used to name football players such as Di Stefano, Marzolini, Mastrángelo, Alves and El Loco” Gatti, as he was called. We also used to watch Pelé in the New York Cosmos team, and other crack players form Brazil.
The first ball my father gave me as a present was that of Mexico 1970’s World Cup from the Federation Internationale Football Federation (FIFA- For its French acronym), since he was very proud of the argentine creativity that mark a milestone in this sport: that was removing the visible leather cord from the ball. For the first time in history, the football was smooth and the stiches and the air valve were neither visible nor felt. This brilliant idea came from an argentine saddler, and the idea was so successful that that “superball” was selected to be used in the world cup.

My passion for this sport reached the maximum level when I started to play in the Football School of Güemes, located in General Rodriguez, province of Buenos Aires, it was the same year when the Argentine Football Team, at the hand of celebrities such as Mario Alberto Kempes, was blessed as the 1978’s world champion. Memories of my house radiating joy, the passion and the willingness, the dedication and all the dreams that arise from that milestone, marked me and many other argentines that still remember that 25th of June of 1978.
